Prayer Warrior

 At WMT, we believe that the prayer support that is generated for our various expeditions is absolutely vital. We are bringing medical supplies and aide but the eternal differences that we aspire to make will only be accomplished through prayer and as a result of God's blessing. Every trip we try to bring someone who's sole purpose will be to lift up the patients we see, the rest of the team and the rest of the village to God in prayer. This is an extremely important part of our ministry. As someone who's primary purpose for the trip will be to pray, your day can pretty much look like whatever you want it to. Some people enjoy walking through the village outside the clinic, talking to and praying for various people that they come into contact with. The pharmacy is another good place to talk with and pray for people. They can often spend quite a bit of time waiting for their medicines and this is a great opportunity to spend time with people individually.
The prayer warrior can also be a great encouragement to the rest of the team. Just knowing that there is someone lifting them up in prayer and oftentimes praying with them can be very uplifting.
Spending a great part of your day doing battle for the people of the country and the rest of your team can be emotionally and spiritually draining. However, it is also immensely rewarding and as mentioned before, a vital part of our ministry.
